Dr. Benjamin LoGiudice is a native of the Chicagoland area. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology as a member of the Honors College at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He continued his studies at the University of Illinois where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery with honors in 1998.
Dr. LoGiudice’s interest in complex dental and oral surgical patients led him to complete a four-year, rigorous Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Indiana University Medical Center.
Dr. LoGiudice was fortunate to have trained under the guidance of Dr. Steven Schimmele, who completed a Head and Neck Cancer Fellowship with Dr. Robert Marx of the University of Miami, School of Medicine. Another key influence in Dr. LoGiudice’s surgical training was Dr. Larry Peterson, author of Principles of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery who personally trained two of Dr. LoGiudice's mentors. Additionally, Dr. LoGiudice received extensive training in anesthesiology under the guidance of Dr. Robert K. Stoelting, the most published authority in this medical specialty.
Dr. LoGiudice has been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for ten years and is skilled in all aspects of oral surgical procedures, especially extraction of wisdom teeth, dental implants and bone grafting. It is with great pride that he opens his new practice, North Shore Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center in Deerfield Illinois.
Dr. LoGiudice is on staff at Lake Forest Hospital. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is proud of the fact that he has achieved Board Certified status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. LoGiudice, a violinist, enjoys performing at weddings along with his wife Maria, a vocalist. He especially enjoys spending time with his daughters, Mia and Isabella.
